63 year old telemarker feels like he needs a knee replacement, has pics to support the notion. Does anybody know any good surgeons, preferably at Valley General? Thank you!

I know a great orthopedic surgeon in Seattle at Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle if you;re interested. He mainly does hips, but pretty sure he does knees too.

John Hendrickson with Valley Orthopedic did both my shoulders but he specializes in knee injuries and replacement. I think he did a fellowship in Aspen.  I had a very good experience the both times I had to go under the knife. I highly recommend him.

Good Luck!

My knee doc was adamant that I replace both knees over 2 years. He assured me I could "ski the blues" when he was done. I opted to use regenerative orthopedics instead The clinic I used in Broomfiled Co came highly recommended by a number anti aging docs. They have since opened another facility that concentrates on regrowing cartdlidge. Here's thier take on knee replacements and how medicine has advanced I still have some soft tissue issues from the torn calf muscle and I'm probably not as prone to huck about as much as I used to. Some of that may be slowly accepting aging, however I'm skiing a heck of a lot better than when I started this last March. Might be worth a try before they take sawsall to your leg. I figured if it didn't work out I could do the replacemnt later rather than sooner. Good luck.
