snoqualmie pass closed till 11am for avy

Went up to Central (central express was the only lift running) and took a few runs before the pass opened. Only about 10-15 people were on the hill (all locals) and the snow was DEEP. There was very little groomer action on the slope so you had to be very careful after you dropped off the steeps to make sure you hit a path to make it back to the lift. It was great to be able to take the long board out finally....it floated over that pow great. I hope to make it out again tomorrow.
