Go with a full alpine setup. 75-80 cm skis would probably work just perfectly. In that size I have only have rear entry boots, but they worked for both of my kids. I put my kids on Daisy with a tip connector and a rope around their waist and we just did laps. Ski until they are cold, go inside for hot chocolate, repeat. The time you put in now will pay off huge when they get a little older and can ski on their own with your. It is so much fun. PM if you want more info.

Resist at all costs the idea of skiing with them between your legs. I don't think they learn anything and I know it is dangerous. Some friends of ours just broke their daughter's leg while skiing that way.

That car would look great with a ski rack.  ;)

I used to ski gentle hills with my son next to me holding onto my ski poles, which I held horizontally like an oar. Probably not the best way to learn, but we made it work.

Thanks all. Yes, he's a great kid....
We'll be looking for ski gear for him next year (at age 2.5 years) if anyone has any ideas.

Awesome!
It's up to you to continue raising him right & instill the fact that 2 things on your feet is better than 1. Just don't let him turn into this 1 yr old.
