Dynafit TLT Vertical ST Binding descent setting was created by Edgesport
Descent mode: Do you lift the front lever after you step in? I have seen people descend in both positions.

Nope--front up is for touring, locks the pins into your boot. Some people ski with it up to increase release tension, but no one knows how much, from what I've heard up to 12-14 DIN equivalent.

Somewhere on Wildsnow it says it bumps it up to 14-18...
Here's someone who was tired of prereleasing on their FT's, locked down the toes & didn't see a 6ft drop due to flat light.... not pictured: two more screws thru the bone at the top.
