Newton Clark Glacier: 1988 & 2008 Compared

I was up on pea gravel today between Clark and Newton canyons and decided to learn a little more about the glaciers above the spot. Found these interesting comparison shoots.

If anyone is intenterested backcountry skier and ONP scientist Bill Baccus is giving a presentation about the decline of glaciers in Olympic National Park Tuesday 1/10 7:00 pm at the ONP visitor center in Port Angeles. Admission is free.
