ski length question- k2 coombacks

agree with the 181. I'm ~6'-2" and 200~210lbs depending on my last meal. I ski the older Coomba in a 181 and it never lets me down.

Another vote for the 181. I am 6'4" at 165 lbs. I have about 40 days on the '10-'11 Coomback and never once felt like I needed a longer ski.

I ski 181s. I'm about 180 lbs, 5' 11" and I usually ski a longer ski in bounds with my alpine boots - maybe 188 for a big all mountain ski to do laps in the side country with. But the 181cm Coombacks with Dynafit TLTs are ideal as my go-to winter touring ski for soft snow conditions.

I've probably got close to 40 days on the ones I have now and they are really versatile, float well and aren't too heavy. I've been really pleased.

Either way you are going to love the Coombacks. I am 6'4", 220lbs so I went with the 188, but a friend of mine that is probably 6' to 6'2" got the 181 and loves them. I would guess the 181 would work great for you.

I'm a big boy -- 240 lbs., 6'2" -- and my 181 Coombacks (well, actually, grunge APs -- same ski) w/Dynafits work great as mid-winter touring boards for me. But they have a speed limit for my big fat butt on hardpack.

Get the 181s. You'll love 'em

i'm 6-5/200# and have the 188 coombas
i actually think they're a tad short

but, based on number of other opinions for 181, sounds like a TAY recommendation consensus...
