Leavenworth/Blewett was created by mtngirl
Looking for condition reports for Leavenworth/Blewett. I had a bunch of tours planned for New Year's weekend in the Leavenworth area (Wedge mt/Nason Ridge/Icicle Ridge), but the weather is not cooperating. I'm heading over on Saturday, via Blewett, and it seems like Blewett might be high enough to escape most of the rain. If anyone has intel, I would appreciate it. Obviously watching the avi conditions and seeing if things settle down by then. Thanks!!

Drove over Blewett yesterday afternoon. There was snow at the pass (like a foot) and it was raining. View from the valley, the hills are completely bare except a dusting on N faces (seeing up to 2800') . Presumably the recent rain was snow somewhere higher up. For snow you'll have to look pretty high. Should have better info after each of tomorrow, Friday; there is snow in the forecast especially Thursday night so we'll see how much and at what actual level.

I've been skiing Blewett/Tronsen with my dog every weekend for the last month or so. Although just a foot or so on the ground, the roads and trails have been surprisingly good. I'd be careful on the clear-cuts and rock slides until more snow falls. I've been carrying a heavy-duty pruning saw to buck up dead fall along the way and doing good work. Enjoy!

It was about 55 f today in Wenatchee and spitting rain. Actually quite pleasant.

Looked thin and grim coming over today. Similar at Mission Ridge. Limited chairs and thin cover. Hopefully tonight's storm will assist.

It's a bit thin, but the snow in the upper basin and halfway down was great in the open off piste areas. No Name, Allah, Upper Tumwater, Lip Lip and Lip Lip E. were all great wind buffed powder. I would expect similar conditions above 5500' around Blewett on sheltered slopes.Looked thin and grim coming over today. Similar at Mission Ridge. Limited chairs and thin cover. Hopefully tonight's storm will assist.
