The Monika Johnson Avalanche Education Scholarship

Recipients of the Yuki Award will also be provided with an Ortovox avalanche beacon along with their Level 1 course.  Huge thanks to Ortovox for their generosity in helping outfit the scholarship recipients.

The MJAES crew has awarded its first three scholarships for the year -- we're aiming for seven total, so keep the applications coming in! Recipients of the award will get an AIAIRE Level 1 with one of the program sponsors, as well as an Ortovox beacon.

The education programs proposed by the first set of applicants are really wide ranging in who they reach out to, so if you've got an idea and want to get started with a great course and some excellent equipment, go here for more info.
