Portland Skiers!!

I just moved to town from Colorado and am looking for some ski buddies to ski backcountry with!! Excited for a hopefully big winter of coastal snow and some ambitious days. Is there any group or list that you guys hang out on? Any secret club?!? I've heard people are pretty protective of there stashes out here..

Check out the mazamas ski mountaineering program. You could get invovled with them as in instructor if you have avy certification. Also there is a list serve that they keep that I might be able to get you on..
