Help! Boot Crampons for Scarpa F1??

Anybody have experience using boot crampons (not ski crampons) with the Scarpa f1?

Looking at the Grivel Race...Grivel Air Tech (light) ....Haute Route

Does the heel clip with automatic crampons interfere with the cable latch in the rear of the boot?
Recommendations?

I used the Grivel G10L for several years with F1's - they worked fine with the boots. Not positive, but I think the latch on the other Crampo-matic models is the same (namely quite low profile).

Not sure if I ever tried to put the F1 latch in the "locked" position with crampons on or not (I don't think so).

PS I like the concept of the Haute Route - steel in front for durability, alu in back (you were going to ski down anyway, right?)
