An Evening With Greg Hill, September 30th, 7:30pm was created by tob
Greg will talk about his evolution from mountain boy to mountain man, taking viewers to the top of the highest peaks in the Selkirks, the summit of Mt-Blanc, and many other adventures that lead up to his biggest mission yet, His 2 million feet in 2010. Greg is open and candid about his doubts, his challenges and all the hurdles he had to overcome to climb and ski 2 million feet. Join him as he brings you to the top of 71 summits, feel the wind blast your face as him and his partners get blown off chilean volcanoes, and enjoy deep face shots in the Columbia mountains. His talk is about motivation, huge challenges and the rewards that come from digging as deep as possible.
Greg Hill will be presenting his slideshow at Backcountry Essentials, 214 W. Holly St., Bellingham, WA. There will be door prizes and a live auction.
Tickets are $15 dollars at the door or they can be purchased in advance at: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/198888
Proceeds benefit the Bellingham Mountain Rescue Council, an organization funded entirely through charitable contributions and fundraising events.
Come and enjoy and evening of adventure, beer, and camaraderie while supporting a vital part of our local outdoor community!

Bump.
Should be a good event. I know last year's slide show was fun.

So thanks, Chris and BCE staff, and Bellingham Mountain Rescue and of course Greg Hill - most impressive and entertaining - the great machine is really quite the down to earth fun guy - and mainly, that got the stoke going! Bring it!
