I'm rooting for El Nino down here.

...a steady diet of 40F pounding rain in Seattle works for me (though my non-ski-fanatical friends think I'm nuts)...

I have reverse SAD (seasonal affective disorder) and I smile when it is both cold AND rainy during the Seattle winter. Hates: those cold, foggy-smoggy no-rain winter weeks we sometimes get, even worse than Pineapples.

Cliff also reported in late January 2011 that we shouldn't expect much additional snow.  So, I'll believe it when I ski it.
