Have you been doing that for an extended period of time with the same set of skins?
Yes, and yes.
And more than one set of skins along with skins from different providers. Climbing Skins Direct skins seem to need to be treated more often (or else the seem to get waterlogged faster), which stands to reason as they admit that they refrain from adding any DWR (durable water repellency) to their skin material.
