North twin sister logging roads? was created by ridesteeps
So a friend and I searched for twelve miles and 3,500 feet of vert w/ out any success of finding the trail head up the north twin sister from mosquito lake road. Any one know the correct way. We gazed upon its untouched slopes in frustration and are going to try again on friday. Our best guess is that you take a right at the fork at the beginning of the clear cut that has a cairn at it, continue along crossing a bridge over the river and ? If you know the way your info would be greatly appreciated.

That approach can sure be a tricky one to navigate. I've attached a link to a page from Steph Abegg's website that has a very good detailed map of the approach for the North Twin. Hope that helps.

Just a warning, don't drive your car past the gate on the bridge. The gate may be open but it belongs to the quarry and they will lock it at any time and if you have driven your car up you will not be able to get out. Most people ride their bikes from the gate.
