Boot sole glue? was created by Charlie Hagedorn

Any recommendations for good boot sole glue? I've had limited success with hasty shoe-goo repairs with my Dynafit TLT4s in the past, so I'm interested in something new.

My "new" pair of boots lost a heel block last week, and I'd like to get it back together...

Had good luck with my wife's Merrell Ultras with Shoe Goop but they are leather, not plastic.

I use JB Weld fo such repairs.
Seems to hold up real well.

Barge Cement used per directions plus screws has worked best for me

Interesting. I am gluing the front ends of the soles on my Garmont Mega-Rides right now using 3M 5200, which takes several days to dry. Will test this weekend and let you know.
