Anyone been up there recently? I was thinking of doing sahale tomorrow, but was wondering if it is still possible to skin from the road?

According to an article in the TNT awhile back, bridge repair will periodically block access to Cascade Pass trailhead until August:

I went up there over Memorial day weekend. At that time the road from the Eldorado TH was snow free for about a mile and a half. Two miles in there is a large (200 yards?) section of downed trees covering the entire road from a massive windstorm. I imagine it is going to be a long time before they are all cleared out this summer. This section is negotiable but difficult while carrying skis. After this section the road had snow and was skinnable, but I can't comment on how much melt has occurred since then. Hope that helps.
