Chamonix insider video: scary on the Mallory

...it turns out that the chamonix base for may 2011 was 2-3 times less than what it had been for the last 4 years ( www.igluski.com/france/chamonix-snow-history_1601 )...so base damage last season might not have been so bad... ;D...

Sweet vid, very steep terrain.  I've only seen it in summer.  Need to find a overall route shot.

It kind of amazes me that guides are willing to take people on stuff like this.  I don't feel like a guide would do that in the US...

...it's chamonix!...there probably isn't a couloir in the mount blanc area that anselme hasn't descended...
