What is Best Cell Phone coverage at Crystal Mt

Can I post this here? Tired of the hours spent on the web so I thought I'd turn to the many of you who frequent Crystal. Can you help me with this? Lost long time phone last Saturday and thus its associated real cheap plan. Need a new plan and only need a minimalist phone. I only use voice for ~ 45 min/month but really want best coverage at Crystal. Pay as you go seems like the way for me. Verizon coverage map looks best with maybe ATT also having coverage. I don't necessarily trust the maps though. My wife's T mobil is spotty up there. Not relying on this for rescue its just extremely convenient when I am on call. Please help me out with whats best up there

I don't spend a lot of time at Crystal, but my Verizon phone has worked well there (as well as having remarkable coverage in the Snoq and Stevens areas). It's an older model phone that still has an analog antenna, as well -- not sure how much that matters these days.

I had AT&T but switched to verizon a few years ago specifically because I had to borrow my partners verizon phone 2 years in a row to call my mother on mothers day from the top of the silver king.

After those mother days incidents, I also noticed that in other cascade mountain locations it was common for everyone to have a signal but me! have had good luck in the mountains since I switched to verizon.

AT&T works in most areas of the mountain. Had Sprint a few years back and it suck-eth. Did then anyway...

Sitting on the GV chair last Sunday, My T-mobile phone had full bars, guy next to me had T-mobile with no service. My phone is old, basic and extremely small, unsure why the difference.

Verizon is best now and gives most coverage at Crystal and in adjoining sidecountry and backcountry.
Some of my buddies have iphones with AT&T and for a while were plagued by bad coverage. That now seems better but I still get better coverage with my Droid/Verizon than they do with AT&T especially in the sidecountry and BC.

Additionally a TAYer who shall be nameless has a Verizon booster at his house near Crystal so when I want to download porn( ski porn) I park in his driveway and get full bars and G3.... I'm sure he doesn't mind.
