I don't think it's fair to the dogs to leave them locked in a vehicle for so long. Can you find a dog sitter please. Especially on a ski mountaineering trip unfamiliar with the mountain where many things could delay your already lengthy return. regardless of trip knowledge, its still unfair to the dogs for such a long hike. I don't mean any harm here, just the same advice I would give a friend contemplating the same...
