I get my mountain forecasts from the zone forecast for Western Washington ( www.crh.noaa.gov/data/SEW/ZFPSEW ) and Eastern Washington ( www.nws.noaa.gov/data/SEW/ZFPOTX ) and Mount Rainier ( www.crh.noaa.gov/data/SEW/RECSEW )

The Western Washington and Mt. Rainier ones are stuck on April 13th, while the Eastern Washington one is current. Are my links simply outdated, or is something going on with the service?

As always I'll pop in here to see if there are any weather links that folks are using regularly that aren't in the "Weather Links" section above -- always looking for new sources...

Thanks.

FYI, for the current NWS Mt Rainier Rec Forecast, you might try:

www.wrh.noaa.gov/sew/get.php?wfo=sew&pil=REC&sid=SEW

This is indeed up to date this morning, as are other NWS forecasts. When you find a forecast that appears to be "out-of-date", in most cases I believe that you may just need a refresh for the page on your PC...or you may have a link that has been changed. Also, if you go directly to the NWS for the area of interest (for Seattle go to weather.gov/seattle) and then navigate to the desired forecast, you will probably find a current forecast.

The NWS runs multiple checks to help ensure the latest forecasts are on line.

on a similar note I have recently switched to a mac for on of my systems at home and find that many of the hyperlinks on the left side of the page do not work (when using mac), such as NWS discussion page, weather cams, et, et, has anyone ever taken note of this before?

Thanks
