Anybody skied Bluewood? was created by rlsg
Has anybody skied Bluewood and/ or the surrounding area? Looks like they have a fairly decent snowpack... Unfortunately they will be done this Sunday April 10 I believe...however their is the backcountry...

Skied there for four years while at school in Walla Walla.
The resort itself has nicely spaced trees (and nobody skis them). But it's small, and has a slow three seater lift. Often has much drier nicer powder than the Cascades.
There is some good backcountry skiing in the valley to the west of the resort. Nothing steep but there are some nice glades and clearcuts that are fun.
It's a surprisingly fun area for such little mountains, but I wouldn't drive across the state for it.
