Snowshoes but no AT gear

Last year Alpy closed early and booting up International I was sinking waist deep (it was still snowing after the resort closed). Was lucky some mountaineer guys were ahead of me... So I'm sure you can do it, if you really want to

Wow. The Alpine Trekkers look just like what i need. I have a pair of Gotamas. Looks like the Trekkers will fit right in. Thanks for the advice all!

...just don't forget to get some skins too otherwise you ain't gonna get far on just the trekkers

if you have snowshoes they'll likely work fine with ski boots. I've used Redfeather snowshoes with my size 31.0 ski boots before (when my 2 sets of AT gear were simultaneously broken).

In my experience the worst part was snobby comments from dyna-tools... :

Although I'm a dynatool/onyxdork, I never make smarmy comments about the gear others choose to use (unless it appears obviously unsafe in some way).

I have one friend who calls them his "gaypons"!NTTIATWWT.

Don't forget the "gaytors" that go along with them.
