Hi fellow TAYers....

I learned of the tragedy of Dr. Bill Mills through a friend/colleague. Bill was his closest friend and outdoor partner. He is looking for anyone who may know any other information about the accident/fall at Alyeska. He's just trying to understand what happened. I thought our community may have some connections that can provide some facts.

Thank you very much,
Lara

I'm sure that's not new information, but I've got nothing else. Sounds like a bad fall, but that's he's alive in critical condition. I spoke with some friends who skied Alyeska last week and they said it was like skiing an iceberg.

Hoping for a good recovery.

Thank you. I know Dr. Mills enjoyed much climbing & skiing here in the Pacific NW recently. I am hoping the best for he & his family during this difficult time. It sounds like the conditions on the North Face of Alyeska were horrendous. Any more information is always appreciated.
