Hi All,

I recently moved to Washington & am kinda new to skiing & backcountry skiing. Earlier this season I happened to be looking around online for gear, beta, etc & was checking out some goggles when I casually entered my name into a contest.

I recently found out I am one of 3 finalists in that contest sponsored by Julbo. So they asked me to submit a video for this contest. The grand prize is a ski trip in the Sierras w/ Glen Plake. The winner will be decided by public vote. Judging from the other entries, I'm gonna need *a lot* of help.

I'd like to ask you to vote for my video & maybe even spread the word by passing this message to others. To vote, go to

Apologies if this request is a bit too spammy & no worries if voting is a problem.

Hope your season is going well!

Thanks & cheers,

jpw

Judy,

That's a fun video that tells an interesting little story in just 3 minutes. I thought the other guys' videos were nowhere near as interesting. The ski dude seems to be a good skier, but that doesn't make me want to vote for him. After all, it's not as if Glen Plake is competing to win a ski trip with him!

I voted for you. Hope you win!

...and I hope you get lots of votes from TAY readers. Vote for Judy!

Duncan

I learned to ski at Liberty and Roundtop in PA too (no - not Port Angeles)!

But I cant remember every having that much snow in Washington DC.
