skiing response ?

I began noticing this phenomena a few years ago at some of the resorts in certain bowl areas where the tracks from the summits were simply long traverses that cut across the whole bowl. I understand there are many reasons for why people do this, but as of late I have seen this same type of track in certain side-country bowls close to the resort.
My first instinct leans towards aggravation and a rash act of Drill Instructor Like Verbage towards those responsible and be ready for the backlash, but a cooler head and tolerance also seem to be the path towards wisdom and perhaps educating the lame.
It's hard to predict what one will do when encountering the lamers at the top of the peak who have sullied the descents for all with their idiotic lines.
Any insights or suggestions welcome.

Go further away from the resort.

saw that line yesterday in First bowl.  From south end, bullet proof first half, then glide out to saddle.  Understandable.  Better lines from northern ends of bowls.  New snow coming Saturday, with significant west winds.  Be wary and warn others.

i'm definatly guilty of this. but i'm not scared to put a scar accross two, three knolls for a couple turns in machs. point taken

Um, maybe some are not familiar with powder and are uncomfortable with skiing at a speed that makes powder comfortable. I plead.....GUILTY!!! Guilty with no remorse.
