Yodelin: Is it "in"? was created by andyski
Looking at FINALLY doing some storm skiing this weekend. Is a 60-ish-inch base enough to ski the north-facing old growth, etc. at Yodelin, or will be a stump, rock, alder hell?

Was up there Saturday. No problems. Good firm base. Went up to the upper lift foundation and skied down. Not bad but crusty on the top and slushed on the bottom. Watch out for non-filled in snow pits from some classes.

You guys in the PNW are so spoiled. We rejoice on 16". Can't wait to get back though.
