I have a 1 day layover in SLC on my way back from Jackson, and I'm not looking to waste it. Out of the 3 areas allowing snowboarding, which would you recommend? Never ridden either Utah or Jackson before, but I have a feeling I'm in for a treat. Who has the best terrain? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this helps, but if you have the Gold pass at Snoqualmie or Crystal you can ski for free at Brighton.

Snowbird's legendary in LCC. Huge, epic. Brighton and Solitude in BCC are more mom and pop, best to have a guide for the goods. All are fun. Depends on what you want.

I'll try to extend TAY etiquette to the Mormon settlers on your behalf Scotsman. Looking for big powder field and technical terrain-sounds like Snowbird might be the ticket. thanks

Thanks Randy Beaver, if they have any questions on skiing etiquette pass them along and I'll get around to giving them my decisions. I intend to avoid parochialism in my new role and from what I know of behavior at Snowbird they could benefit from my considerable wisdom on all things etiquette related.
