Thoughts to start 2011

Cruising through the trip reports I couldn't help but chuckle about the White Pass TR flame fest.

I was kinda shocked that almost 4,400 views and 74 replies to Snowolf's post...brought back memories of my own TR that created such a buzz.  For those playing at home from FIVE (!!) years ago - holy cow how time flies - about climbing SnoQualmie Mtn in 2005. 

So I go down nostalgia road and look up the old TR.  That baby has almost 10,000 views now!  I know it's not a race but somehow this gives me deep pleasure.  Sick.

Feeling kinda proud of myself I read the old thing.

And come across my reference to following Telemon's uptrack on that fateful day.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. My own theory is that folks get a touch cranky over the holidaze. A theory formed from watching my own behavior on that old thread, which if memory serves was also posted around Xmas...
