They are still saying Jan8 but most likely Jan 23. The most up to date news is on my website at hyak.net where locals post the latest news.

Thanks for that. Bummer! I'm staying at the base of Hyak from 1/6 - 1/14 and was hoping for a lift assisted trip to St Cathrine. Oh well, I'll make do. Love your website. It's bookmarked on my computer.
