If I'm the one you encounter I try to be pleasant, but if you are ignoring the dooty, we have a problem. Thanks /G

Once Hyak is into the swing, dogs will be taboo just as at the other resorts. Hyak_Jack and gravitymk had the basic rules of acceptance but I wish someone had mentioned the POOP. You need to pick it up and carry it away for proper disposal. As a rescue dog handler I am constantly picking up the droppings from everyone else not just to set the example but to decrease the liklihood of a guest getting s_faced.

Yes, if you have nothing to carry poop with at least move it out of the path of skiers if possible. If you figure, well it will be covered with snow that may be true now, but it all shows back up in the spring in full force and it can be nasty.

Anyway, she needs a little more training on staying away from ski edge, and I think Hyak might be a good place to practice with her.

Though the pooch stays on my heels most of the time, she does occasionally run out of sight, so she better not poop while I'm not looking, or it's no treats for her!
You can just let her do her business in the parking lot. That's what all the cool snowboard dudes do with their dogs.
