Edit to add: With more and more people using POV cameras I suspect we will see more and more records of the skier trigger actually happening. I guess the upside is that it allows for real not speculative analysis of what happnend and may aid both avy safety and avy science in the long term.

Wow.  Looks like he is still living because most of the snow got funneled off to the sides and he ended up on that ridge instead of down the couloir.
