Did you punch a hole in your Crystal Mt pass too?

So, I was excited to recieve my Crystal season pass before they opened for the season (good job Crystal!), and noticed there was no hole punched in it for a lanyard.  Finding no barcode, waiver, or any other thing that could possibly matter to Crystal Mt management in the area that is obviously reserved for me to punch a hole in it, I did.

Then, this morning while checking the webcam, I noticed their conditions statement included "Attention passholders! Do NOT punch a hole in your new season pass - passes need to go in a jacket pocket."  -Too late.

How could they not see this coming?
So, anyone know what I'm up against when I show up with my tainted pass?

Also,

Usually, when Crystal is open weekends, and plans to close midweek (as they have anounced is their current plan for operations), they allow Midweekers to use their passes on weekends.  Is this the case?

if they use the RFID system, you could well be in for it..  Notice on my new White Pass pass, no barcode, mag stripe etc.  It's a lifetime card with built in RFID that is recognized by their readers as having been paid for annually - or not..  Gotta hope you like the portrait that went on it..     :(

I punched a hole. Go into guest service and they will hook you right up with a new one. Today they took mine while in line, gave me a ticket for the day and I had a new pass waiting when I left. ;D

That is a best case scenario!

So did the pass not work with a hole in it when going through the gate at the lift. Or did you not try? I thought long and hard about punching--holding it up to the light to see if I could discern where the RFID chip was so I wouldn't damage it. Decided against punching.

Keith,
You must be smarter than me (not saying much there).  I haven't been up, so dunno, but sounds like it doesn't matter if it works or not.  They're having you get a new one, as Jim found out.
