Tamarack Resort Reopening

Looks like Tamarack Resort will reopen this season.

yeah, local boosters made a bid to operate it despite it's insolvency.  will be curious to see how much grooming they do - maybe none?         to much to hope for.

Many million $ homes sitting empty - many deals to be had..  still a ghost town - for now

yaa, Tamarack will open down at Mammoth. its kind of a great set-up; you can take the bus after sking the backside/ the Hole-in the-Wall area, to get you back to the lower lifts on the east side of the mtn. the usual scenario, however, is "when there's enough snow". after the wkend - there will be enough. the other Tamarack down here is the Mt Rose b/c. so good luck w/ your Tamarack. there's even 1 more Tamarack by Bridgeport, which can access some upper bowls with a 2,500 ft approach (overniter best). havent done it yet. So yaa, I love Tamarack's, wherever they be !

at the Tamarack lodge, and x country centre - Mammoth, you could have a bottle after doin the "Hole" or some of the Mammoth ale. "show u right" (Robert Cray) or left.
