ABS Air bags.

I saw this report in Outside magazine and it's probably the most compelling report I've ever read about the benefits of an ABS air bag.
I bought a second hand one last summer and I know they cost as much as a pair of DPS  skis but I consider it a really good investment if you ski in avy terrain a lot.

I know, I know  AVOIDANCE and CAUTION still best and they can have problems in giving the wearer a sense of invincibility but Wow.
After spending some time in Canada over the last three seasons, in Shames and Roger's pass, the use of ABS airbags amongst serious BC skiers there seems much higher than the US.

I don't think telemarkers should EVER reprimand others for having silly things attached to their feet.
