To celebrate and prepare for seven day a week access to Hurricane Ridge, the Hurricane Ridge Winter Sports Club, ONP, BCA, and North by Northwest Surf and Snow Shop are hosting Steve Christie from BCA for a FREE Avalanche Awareness course on Friday November 12 and Saturday November 13.
Friday night's lecture is from 7-9 at the PA senior center located at 328 E. 7th Street in Port Angeles. Saturday from 10-1 will be a hands on experience at the Ridge, weather permitting.
