I and all who will have the fortune smell my liners thank you!
Buying the aforementioned new boots has left me broke so a boot dryer will have to wait but many thinks for all the home cooked solutions!

- wash your feet twice every day
- put on clean socks everyday, put on clean socks when you get back to the car
- NEVER store socks (especially dirty ones) in your ski boots (or your shoes)
- dry your boot liners upsidedown over the heat registers at home as soon as you get home, make sure your boot is dried out too before you put liners back in
- some people use anitperspirant on their feet (aluminum hydroxide decreases your sweating) but try this on short days first to make sure it isnt going to cause you problems with your skin
- hang your socks up (and all your yucky sweaty clothes) to dry as soon as you take them off adn dont leave them in a pile in your bathroom or car or ski duffel

I haven't had much of a problem -- but then on the other hand I store all my ski gear in my basement work-shop -- which also houses the furnace -- so that room is quite warm and dry and stuff stored there dries out fully after a day.

I'll second that. Ski boots, mountaineering boots, climbing shoes, and training shoes all get the dryer treatment.

Struggled with the same problem until I bought my PEET BOOT DRYER .
