Did anybody notice that the last time the Atlantic had three hurricanes lined up in a row was 1998, which was a La Nina year and happened to be the biggest snow year I thought I would ever live through... Or is it???!!! I like to try to make correlations, but I have to say that the 1998 summer was a lot more summerlike...

I just hope for anything around a normal snowfall and maybe an early NOV storm to get things rolling. Usually LaNina seasons are good, but there is never a sure bet on anything. Below is the link to my Snoqualmie Pass snow totals that I have been keeping for about 6 years now with previous seasons from DOT numbers.

So, if this is an average La Nina, we can hope for the average of 511 inches at SnoPass. And next year, unless it is an El Nino, we can hope for the avarage of 512 inches. The year after a La Nina is just as good as the La Nina year, unless it is an El Nino Year (413 ")

'98/'99 the snow didn't start falling until the Sunday before thanksgiving. Rather late. Of course by Thanksgiving there was 4-5' at Mt. Baker. Then it stopped snowing for a couple of days in February. Oh and they had to close the ski area a couple of times to dig out the chairs.

You guys are gonna jinx this if you keep talking like this.
Everybody knows you're supposed to act nonchalantly and pretend you don't care or you will scare "it" away.
Jeeez! tim_place with all your experience I shouldn't be having to tell you this. :
