The winter ski season seems to be approaching, judging by the uptick in conversation here in the last week. I have two "administrative" requests, for those of you inclined or interested.

I'm trying to get a jump on dead links in the "Weather" and "Access" sections. If you find any that aren't working, please let me know. If you also find the corrected URL, that's great to send along also. You can post them here, PM me, or send an email to:

Along with that, I'd like to start collecting pictures for the front page, now that I know how to update it . Anyone interested can email them to the address above. Some particulars, if you decide to send them:

* You're giving me permission to post them on the home page -- I won't use them anywhere but there and you'll retain all copyright, etc.

* There's no guarantee that I'll use them, or that I'll use them right away.

* I may crop and resize them to fit a maximum width of 1024 pixels. If you send me something that's sized to that width or smaller, it's less work for me and they're more likely to get used, but don't let that prevent you from sending in your stuff. It's easy enough for me to do it.
