Shovel was found around 8600 feet "stashed" in rocks with another object - appeared to have "melted" out (i.e. had been there a long time - just a flash of color buried under snow/ice brought it to our attention - it actually took several minutes to get it out of the ice). PM if you can describe the shovel and what it was with...and your shovel can come home!
