Any webcams to look at for the Sunrise area?
Any skiable snow near Sunrise? I've heard it's melting out faster there than Paradise.
Thanks! RK

I was on a couple day crosscountry hike over Green park and yes things were melting out fast, Dege peak was holding a little but I suspect now it would be mighty thin. Slopes above summerland still looked good from a distance, Green park still holding a bit if you want the walk.

I was up there Sunday, meeting a friend from the East side. Based on his drive over Chinook, we changed objectives from Sunrise to Chinook so we could ski from the car. Sunrise looked bleak from the road, and I was feeling like one more snow-from the car before approach shoe season.

We were on the West side of the ridge off the South of Naches. There was a little parking lot just melting out across the street. It was gorgeous out with wispy clouds slowly fading away to the west, one of those days where it took a while for the marine layer to burn off and it was still pretty firm, but edgeable for our first lap at ~9-10AM.
I skinned from the road for the first lap, but my buddy just booted and I did too for the next two laps. By noon or so it was hot enough that we were sinking in a bit, but not too bad- 1-2"?
There were a fair amount of rain/melt runnels, but for mid July, the sun cups were pretty minimal.
The coverage was pretty good for my very low standards of difficulty; there were a lot of steeper lines melted off of Naches proper. Considering that I was prepared to hike in approach shoes for a few hours, it felt pretty good!
