I am wondering if ANYONE knows if Martin Volken's book is out yet...

or when it comes out...

where a person could pre-order one...

I believe it's now only available online? As a pay per PDF download. No hard copy planned?

Looks like you can buy just the section for an individual tour as PDF, or the whole book.

Blitz, I have a hard copy I'll sell you. It will cost you though. Out of print means you will pay more. That is, if the one you are looking for is the Snoqualmie Pass environs book. Maybe there is a new one coming out?

I'll bet Martin wishes he'd have negotiated a few hundred free copies with with publisher that he could have held back and later sold as collector's items

Well, Martin is doing you one better than those that still have hardcopies at collector's prices...
Instead of charging you $80 for an out of print version (I wouldn't sell mine for $80) he's charging you $15 for a pdf copy.  Not so bad, I'd say. :
