Thumbnails in TRs not working anymore??

I just tried to post a TR including thumbnailed images, but they would not display at all, just [?] symbols for missing images where the thumbnails should be.  It has always worked properly for me in the past.  And then I noticed that thumbnails are not displaying in any older TRs either, so it seems to be some type of issue with the TAY thumbnail generating script.

Any idea what the problem is? Some configuration/setting which needs to be fixed by Marcus or Charles, or ...?
