Not sure if only for fine dining at the Summit House, or skiing too? This is interesting: "The Summit House Bistro is perched at the top of the mountain at 6,872’ and is accessed by the Chinook & Rainier Express chairlifts. Executive Chef Aaron Willis prepares cuisine that rivals the striking views of Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Range." Aaron Willis? Scotsman's cousin? Maybe he can get more crackers with his chili now?

Do they run the lift at a slower speed so that people can get on and off safely?
After a romantic sunset dinner (and expected accompanying drinks) ski lift accident on the way home is the last thing I need
But being able to use the lift and ski down at twilight or later sounds pretty sweet
Thanks for sharing the intel!

During summer months at Timberline you ride the Magic Mile chair with skis on your lap, it's actually pretty easy to get off.
