Helmets: yeah or nay?

I use the CAMP USA Pulse Ski and Climbing Helmet for in bounds skiing and touring when it will be steep or technical.  The helmet is very light and well ventilated, and warm when you add the winter kit.  My only beef with touring with the helmet is the additional bulk when climbing; I usually take it off and strap it to my pack, but I find it annoying to have it banging around...and its just another thing to fiddle with during transitions!

Just so you can see the "My dad is a dork" look, a pic from my very first b/c tour. I've recently added a visor for that Steve McQueen "Grand Prix" look.



Got a concussion once as a motorcycle racer in a low speed endo, not fun.

Actually, I modified it for more of a rugged "Steve McQueen" look
