Professor John Seifert, an internationally recognized expert on alpine skiing research, categorizes his current work into four different areas: muscle function and fatigue; physiological studies, such as the effects of dehydration; the effects of sports drinks and other nutritional supplements; and how equipment -- such as powder skis -- affect the bodies of people who are using them.

nice story, but short on real information; I did a search to find Seifert's U. website, and it seems it is one page; too bad that one couldn't download some pdfs of the the technical articles he has written.
