Along with tightening screws, its probably a good idea to have extra boot parts for multi-day trips (something I definitely plan on doing in the future).

Further quoting this skilled and knowledgeable ski mountaineer: "It's everything that a girl needs"  :D

In addition to the universal fix for most of the world's problems, we carry a selection of bolts, nuts and screws for our boots, the correct size allen wrench, and, since we tour on dynafiddles, a spare Dynafit boot heal piece insert and screw.

I have Garmont Dynamites and the Dynafit heel piece comes loose frequently. That's the only issues for me, so far....

Use to be a loctite fan but know like the gorilla glue (will expand so will need to shave it off on the inside of your boot after it dries), and a little duct tape over the screw will also help if you don't have any type of waterproof glues/or loctite. I have always said if can't duct it...
