Free Overnight Parking at Whistler

I'm heading up to do the spearhead with a few buddies in early april. I've heard that overnight parking in Whistler Village can be difficult to find. Is there anything left in the Village (lot 4 used to be the go to place) or is it better to look for somewhere free to leave the car at Creekside?

We're not looking to sleep in the car or anything, just not pay and arm and a leg to leave the car while we are doing the traverse. What does everyone do about parking?

#4 still the place to overnight, at the Singing Pass slots (and they put oil for the Olympics so no more huge potholes at least until next winter); also, #6 Blackcomb. Creekside underground open daily. Good conditions, especially if you like Coastal Mtn fog. Cheers, N
