How's the snow holding up at Gold Creek/the base of Hyak? Easy skinning up-valley? I'm finally free of the lab for a day or so....

Snow at Gold Creek is pretty bad.  At my home on Hyak (2,900') I have about 18" on down to dirt in the areas open to sun.  The snow level is predicted to be around 1,500' tonight and it is suppose to snow for a few days.  Maybe we can get a little snow built up to help extend the spring snowpack.
