down here in the Sierras, I was about 10 miles south of Bridgeport, CA. The actual name, is Conway Summit (elev. - 8, 200 ft.) on highway 395. I put in a couple laps Sun., went to Mammoth, and the next day, I put in 2 more laps. Only this time, the sheriff and CHP pulled behind my ride. I just finished the first lap, and I didnt quite ski to the car. I asked him, snow removal parking, he said no highway parking ! so, knowing the area, I said, I'll park at the summit area (one mile south) and I thanked him for letting me do one more lap.
they get pretty bored here this time of the year, as the passes are closed.
oh yaa the snow was boot deep good on a west aspect. & nice coverage.
the spring touring season is shaping up to be good.
