Paradise telemetry 44 deg. was created by snoholic
I was planning on making a trip to ski somewhere around Paradise this weekend. This is out of my normal area (Central Cascades.) I noticed a spike in the temps today at Paradise. I have little local knowledge of the terrain and weather around there. Would the high afternoon temps shown at Paradise a good indicator for the entire area? I was looking at cruzin around the Tatoosh.

Seems a little warm for the way it felt and the 32 F temp reading in my PU at the parking lot. It was sunny this morning, with nice powder, but by early afternoon it was becoming more cloudy and there was already a widespread melt-freeze crust forming due to solar radiation and cold air. Maybe a sun break hit the weather station.

I'd be looking for some shaded spots. Tatoosh north facing might be holding goods.
